About the Role:
As a key member of our award-winning BI Studios team, you will oversee the creative process from ideation through to execution, ensuring all content aligns with the strategic objectives of both our clients and Business Insider. This is a hands-on position where you will not only manage projects but also contribute directly by writing and producing content across various formats including articles, videos, and interactive experiences.
Your role as Associate Director is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director of Content, situated within our Global Marketing & Studios division. This role is based in our New York City headquarters, with an expectation of at least two days in the office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft insightful, branded content ideas and manage their lifecycle from initial pitch to final publication.
- Develop engaging content that clarifies complex themes for both B2B and B2C audiences through diverse formats including written, social media, video, and interactive content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Solutions team to produce polished presentations in response to RFPs and RFIs.
- Drive the ideation and development of custom content, ensuring alignment with Business Insider’s voice and client objectives.
- Supervise a network of freelancers to effectively execute campaigns.
- Address creative challenges as they arise, working collaboratively with sales, media planning, and project management teams.
- Occasional travel may be required for content production, such as on-location interviews or video shoots.
