Key ResponsibilitiesModify enclosures to accommodate cutouts for panel-mounted devices. Retrieve components from the stockroom and assist in maintaining inventory levels. Mount components to panels and connect them according to work instructions. Conduct inspection procedures to verify correct assembly of panels. Assist in preparing finished panels for shipping and support loading/unloading of goods when necessary. Test new techniques and operate prototype automated equipment to enhance the efficiency and quality of our panel production, providing constructive feedback. Qualifications for SuccessHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. Mechanically inclined with experience in light sheet metal modification. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions accurately. Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals, including AC vs. DC voltage, functionality of overcurrent protection devices, and wiring sizing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Capability to stand for extended periods (8 hours/day). Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. Must be available to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY, Monday through Friday.
