This role involves close collaboration with the Commercial, Finance, Tax, Product, and Engineering teams to comprehensively understand the payment setup, pinpoint operational inefficiencies, and spearhead automation efforts while eliminating outdated processes to ensure Boku’s operations are efficient, compliant, and scalable.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a principal representative of the Payment Operations team for internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance) during the deployment of new networks, payment partners, or merchants globally, ensuring operational readiness and seamless go-live execution.Thoroughly analyze current payment operations workflows, identify bottlenecks and manual touchpoints, and propose data-driven, scalable AI solutions to enhance processes and minimize operational costs.Oversee daily payment operations encompassing digital wallets, local payment methods, and carrier billing.Collaborate extensively with Commercial, Finance, Tax, Product, and Engineering teams to review operational frameworks, optimize cash flow, and ensure regulatory compliance.Identify and rectify process inefficiencies; automate manual workflows and implement innovative solutions.
