Assystem is on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Structural Engineer with a strong focus on civil engineering for power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in the design and analysis of cooling towers, particularly Induced Draft Cooling Towers (IDCT) and Natural Draft Cooling Towers (NDCT) within thermal power plants. This pivotal role requires a robust background in reinforced concrete and steel structures, paired with an in-depth understanding of power plant infrastructure.
- Lead structural design and analysis for essential components of power plants, focusing on cooling towers and related structures.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) and steel structures to ensure the structural integrity and operational efficiency of power plant designs.
- Apply relevant design codes and standards, including IS codes, as well as American, British, and European standards to domestic and international projects.
- Conduct thorough structural analysis for industrial buildings and water-retaining structures in power plant settings.
- Innovate and implement cutting-edge design solutions for cooling towers, emphasizing both IDCT and NDCT.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate structural designs with other engineering disciplines within power plants.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and project specifications in all design efforts.
- Provide mentorship and expert guidance on structural engineering issues to junior engineers and project stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in the realm of power plant structural engineering.
