Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements, ensuring quick turnaround. Manage shipments and maintain accurate inventory and stock levels for IT hardware. Document physical infrastructure, including cabling diagrams, rack configurations, and operational processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with hardware vendors, colocation facility partners, and remote hands teams. Support office IT infrastructure, including hardware and network systems, and be available to work outside standard business hours as needed. Requirements At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data center engineering. Proven skills in troubleshooting server hardware, network devices, and storage systems. Familiarity with network cabling, fiber optics, and optical transceivers. Experience with fiber and optical testing tools. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
