As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities, we are seeking a talented and passionate Software Testing Specialist with experience in test automation. You will join our multidisciplinary team to help ensure the quality and user-friendliness of our applications.Your Daily Responsibilities:Validate new and existing functionalities of Genetec’s enterprise platform.Plan, oversee, and execute tests to verify quality, compliance with specifications, and deliverable requirements.Conduct various types of testing: functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and scalability.Analyze, document, and track identified defects.Collaborate with development teams and provide feedback on usability and testability.Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional regression testing using our internal integrated framework.Participate in the development and enhancement of testing standards.Enhance the testing function by formulating new strategies to identify defects early in the process.Your Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.5 years of experience in functional and automated testing.Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and troubleshooting abilities.Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.Your Technical Expertise:Familiarity with object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as C#, Python, and PowerShell.Experience with one or more testing automation tools and libraries.Proficient in web application testing across different platforms.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of C# and SQL.Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages.Familiarity with Visual Studio, Test Manager, and Azure DevOps.Experience in delivering quantitative quality metrics and deployment.
