Position Overview
This role reports to the Supply Planning Lead and is crucial for initiating, managing, and coordinating supply requirements, materials, inventory plans, and capacity for Hunter Douglas. The position provides critical planning input regarding capacity, materials, and customer service, while also supporting problem-solving and project initiation in response to identified planning constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate production plans that align with the business objectives of the HD manufacturing site, focusing on minimizing inventories and operating expenses while maximizing customer service performance.
- Work collaboratively with Supply/Production Planners to establish inventory management requirements for materials, including setting inventory targets and safety stock levels, managing inventory mix to meet working capital and customer service goals, and leading efforts in obsolete and slow-moving inventory management.
- Support the Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) process through timely and accurate production plans and material needs.
