EquipmentShare is looking for a Tool Technician (Mechanic) to join the team at the Monaca, PA rental facility. This position centers on maintaining and repairing a range of tools and small equipment, serving both company and customer needs. The role involves working with up-to-date equipment and technology to help contractors and local communities keep projects moving.
Schedule and Compensation
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime pay applies after 40 hours each week. Some on-call shifts may be scheduled, with additional compensation for those hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain tools and equipment, including pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, and small engines.
- Diagnose issues using real-time equipment data and determine solutions efficiently.
- Follow safe work practices during all repairs.
- Use laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to manage work orders, track service intervals, and order parts.
- Keep accurate electronic records and update work orders promptly.
- Work independently and also take direction from senior technicians as needed.
- Assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery.
- Participate in company-provided OEM training throughout the year.
- Apply knowledge of OSHA requirements if applicable (preferred, not required).
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
