This position is primarily responsible for initiating conversations about organ and tissue donation, as well as notifying the Notifying Party regarding donor designation. The Family Resource Coordinator promptly responds to donor referrals, assessing the needs of families as requested by hospitals, families, or resource/transplant coordinators. This role demands compassionate communication and empathy towards both donor families and potential transplant recipients. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective conflict resolution and support for families in crisis, as well as collaborating efficiently with medical professionals. This position requires excellent conflict management abilities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work independently while being accountable to team objectives.

Engage in regular clinical team meetings and case reviews when applicable. Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional practice standards. Qualifications: Possession of an active California LCSW license in good standing.
