Position Summary:The Chief Operating Officer (COO) acts as the principal internal leader and integrator at BEAM Circular. This pivotal role is responsible for translating the organization’s strategic goals into actionable plans, overseeing operational performance, and enhancing internal systems. In close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, the COO guarantees that BEAM’s programs, operations, and teams are effectively aligned and equipped to achieve outstanding results. This position is crucial for reinforcing internal coordination and accountability, thereby allowing the CEO to concentrate on external strategies, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives as BEAM embarks on its next growth phase. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:Organizational Leadership and IntegrationAct as a strategic ally to the CEO in executing BEAM’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Convert strategic objectives into detailed annual and quarterly action plans with measurable outcomes and timelines. Facilitate cross-functional decision-making to synchronize programs, operations, and finances with external initiatives, funding necessities, and long-term strategic goals. Oversee and mentor senior leadership, including the Chief Program Officer and Senior Director of Finance & Operations, providing guidance and accountability. Operations, Finance, and Systems OversightManage organizational operations, including finance, human resources, and legal affairs.
