This Role
Job Title: Data Centre Installer
The Data Centre Installers (DCIs) play a crucial role in servicing our clients across Europe. They are responsible for the delivery, positioning, and installation of server racks within client data centres, ensuring high standards of safety, security, and customer service.
This role offers numerous opportunities for growth and development, with potential career pathways leading to positions such as Delivery Supervisor, Cabling Technician, or Team Leader, complete with training and mentorship.
Work Location: The DCIs will operate on-site at client data centres in Milan, Italy.
Contract Type: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Arrive on client sites punctually, equipped with necessary tools, appropriate attire, and PPE.
- Unload, unpack, and position client IT hardware (e.g., server racks) using power tools safely.
- Engage in occasional lifting with the assistance of proper tools and team support.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism in interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to client procedures regarding health, safety, and security.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with colleagues, including managers and team leaders.
