About the Role We are looking for a dynamic VP of Software Development who will shape the strategic vision, enhance the velocity, and uphold the quality of our software development team. This key leader will manage engineering and product leadership, ensuring that the development department maintains high accountability, executes structured sprints effectively, and meets clear delivery targets. The VP will spearhead the organization's AI adoption strategy, refine product delivery processes, and uphold development standards while collaborating with leadership to ensure software initiatives align with the broader business objectives. This role demands a leader with a blend of technical expertise, operational discipline, and strategic foresight to guarantee that development teams consistently produce high-quality software that adheres to operational and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Accountability Guide and mentor the Director of Engineering and Director of Product, ensuring teams meet company standards, sprint commitments, and delivery goals. Foster a high-velocity, AI-focused, quality-centric culture, provide coaching to leadership and team members, ensure compliance with development processes and release protocols, assess capacity and resource needs, lead vital meetings, and drive departmental initiatives to successful completion. AI Strategy & Innovation Own the AI adoption roadmap for the development organization, identifying, evaluating, and implementing tools that enhance development velocity, code quality, and product capabilities. Cultivate a culture of experimentation and continuous learning, assess emerging technologies for potential inclusion in product and platform strategy, and document AI workflows, standards, and governance practices. Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategic Planning Partner with executive leadership to establish realistic delivery timelines and technical approaches for company initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and oversee both short-term and long-term software projects. Act as the primary technology partner for Operations, Sales, and Client Services, translating business needs into clear technical requirements, ensuring timely bug resolution, and maintaining a progressive five-year software strategy.
