The Business Development Manager focuses on finding and securing new business across Australia and New Zealand. The role centers on building relationships with prospective clients, identifying new market opportunities, and communicating the value of GBG and Loqate’s solutions. Success in this role means growing the client base and increasing GBG’s presence in the ANZ region. Main Responsibilities Research and analyze target markets to find new business opportunities and trends, then proactively reach out to potential clients or partners to drive revenue growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, aiming for trust, satisfaction, and repeat business. Develop tailored sales strategies and proposals, including presentations and pitches that match client needs and the company’s strengths. Work closely with teams across marketing, product, finance, and leadership to ensure proposals are realistic and aligned with business goals. Negotiate and close deals, manage contract discussions, and guide opportunities through the sales pipeline to completion.
