About the job
Ebury seeks a Senior Product Manager focused on Fraud Prevention to join the Madrid office. This hybrid role involves working four days on site and one day from home each week. The position sits within the Financial Crime team and reports to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product.
Role overview
Fraud tactics shift rapidly, often outpacing anti-money laundering efforts. Ebury is looking for a product leader ready to rethink, design, and implement advanced, customer-focused fraud controls across our suite of financial products and processes. This role plays a central part in protecting both clients and company assets by developing and executing product strategies that address new and evolving fraud threats.
As Ebury expands into new verticals such as embedded payments, launches new products like cards, and explores payment methods including stablecoins, fraud prevention remains a top priority. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with teams in Operations, Compliance, Engineering, Data, and Security to strengthen our security framework and drive innovation in fraud prevention.
What you will do
- Research and analyze emerging fraud trends, attack methods, and best practices in both B2B and B2C fraud prevention.
- Identify vulnerabilities, assess potential fraud risks, and balance growth with risk trade-offs when designing security features.
- Develop and lead product strategy to combat fraud, ensuring alignment with the Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain and company objectives.
- Oversee fraud controls targeting transactional fraud, document fraud, and behavioral anomalies.
- Detect and address unusual user behavior across multiple platforms to prevent fraudulent activities.
Collaboration and impact
This position offers the chance to work alongside diverse teams and make a direct impact on Ebury’s approach to fraud prevention. Success in this role requires a strong interest in staying ahead of industry trends, adapting quickly to regulatory changes, and recognizing new fraud patterns as they emerge.
