This position focuses on identifying, qualifying, and securing non-dilutive funding and incentives globally, which will bolster our objectives in growth, innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, and workforce development.As the subject-matter expert in global grant landscapes, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders to define funding strategies, manage high-quality submissions, and ensure compliance and reporting post-award. This is a hands-on, impactful role ideal for someone adept at transitioning from market analysis and stakeholder engagement to leading bids and executing awarded projects.Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a global grants pipeline that aligns with corporate priorities including innovation, R&D, payments and FX technology, AI and data, cybersecurity, sustainability, training and skills, market expansion, and trade facilitation.Conduct systematic mapping of national, supranational, and regional funding schemes (e.g., UK, EU, US federal/state, Canada, LATAM, APAC, Middle East, Africa), along with sector-specific programs pertinent to fintech and financial services.Lead qualification processes, bid strategies, consortium management when necessary, and oversee the entire application lifecycle.Coordinate input from cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Finance, Compliance, Legal, ESG, and HR, ensuring proposals are commercially viable, technically sound, and compliant with funder requirements.Build and maintain relationships with funding bodies, innovation agencies, development banks, export credit agencies, and regional investment authorities, upholding a robust governance framework for due diligence, eligibility, co-funding, and state aid/subsidies.
