AvailabilityDevelop availability models (RBD diagrams, Markov chains) to predict system performance in various operational scenarios.Propose redundancy strategies or design improvements to enhance availability, aligned with client requirements.Collaborate with the maintenance team to define plans that maximize operational availability, leveraging historical and predictive data.3. MaintainabilityDesign optimized maintenance procedures, including repair times, necessary tools, and training for technicians.Evaluate the accessibility of components and suggest design enhancements (DFM – Design for Maintenance) to ensure systems are easy to repair and maintain.Draft technical manuals and documentation for maintenance teams, both internal and for end clients.4. Documentation and Regulatory ManagementDraft and review RAMS reports (e.g., reliability reports) in accordance with EN 50126, EN 50129, and CSM RA, ensuring alignment with client certification processes.Ensure compliance with European railway regulations and internal standards, participating in audits and technical reviews.5. Cross-functional CoordinationCollaborate with systems engineering, quality, and procurement teams to integrate RAMS requirements in the early design phases.Participate in technical meetings with end clients to present analyses, risks, and recommendations.Utilize product lifecycle management tools (Windchill, DOORS, SAP PLM) to document and track the status of RAMS requirements throughout the project.
