Exceptional communication, analytical, and research skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Your qualifications must also encompass a solid understanding of:Coding principles for facility diagnosis and procedure coding along with DRG assignment. Legal and policy guidelines relevant to coding practices. Familiarity with appropriate reference materials, standards, and guidelines for coding. Experience with various EMRs and encoders, or a quick learning aptitude. Commitment to confidentiality requirements.
