Role overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst Engineer Specialist will join Infleqtion’s cybersecurity team to protect systems, networks, and data from a wide range of cyber threats. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to staying current with emerging security risks.
Main responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents on an ongoing basis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts
- Manage and fine-tune security tools, including SIEM, MXDR, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
- Review security logs and alerts to identify and address suspicious activity
- Support incident response, investigations, and root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
- Lead security awareness training for staff
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate penetration testing and tabletop exercises, and conduct regular security reviews
- Ensure compliance with frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
- Work closely with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to strengthen security across the organization
