NEUTRON
Neutron is a medium-lift launch vehicle under development at Rocket Lab. SENIOR COMBUSTION DEVICES ENGINEER II / PRINCIPAL COMBUSTION DEVICES ENGINEER
Based at Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Principal/Senior Combustion Devices Engineer will lead the development of various combustion devices, including preburners, main injectors, thrust chamber assemblies, and vacuum nozzles. These components are vital to the 200,000 lbf Archimedes engine, operating efficiently within an ox-rich, staged combustion architecture.
In this role, you will take full ownership of all aspects of the components, including design and analysis, manufacturing and test support, and ensuring successful flights and high-frequency re-flights.
