About the Role
In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Sales will be instrumental in driving Chorus's new customer acquisition and national sales strategies. We are seeking a senior, hands-on sales leader who will not only shape deals and support our sales team but also refine our sales approach — actively engaging rather than managing from a distance.
This position leads a growing national team of Account Executives, directly manages the SVP of Growth (focused on expanding within existing accounts), and may oversee Marketing depending on experience. The Head of Sales is expected to collaborate closely with sales personnel daily, participate in crucial customer discussions, and actively contribute to deal strategies as the team expands.
This is a hands-on leadership role tailored for a healthcare sales expert who can immediately engage, open doors, influence and support negotiations, introduce structure and discipline to the sales process, and facilitate Chorus's scalable growth in a product-led, repeatable manner.
Customer Focus
Chorus caters to a diverse array of public and private healthcare and human services organizations, including:
- State and County Departments of Mental Health
- Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs)
- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
- Community mental health providers and related agencies
The Head of Sales will be adept at navigating complex healthcare environments characterized by lengthy sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and established technology ecosystems.
What You'll Do:
Revenue & Sales Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and expand a national team of Account Executives
- Collaborate directly with sales personnel on active opportunities, encompassing discovery, positioning, deal strategy, and executive discussions
