About the job
Join the Innovators at Odys Aviation
At Odys Aviation, we are revolutionizing air travel by creating safe, sustainable aircraft designed to significantly reduce travel time across the world's busiest routes. Our flagship aircraft, Alta, allows travelers to bypass the usual airport inconveniences by utilizing local airports and city helipads for flights under 1,000 miles—covering roughly 40% of air traffic. Our innovations have resulted in an average CO2 emissions reduction of 76% over billions of flight miles globally.
To achieve this vision, we have developed our UAV, Laila, intended for commercial logistics, medical transport, humanitarian efforts, disaster relief, and defense operations. With partnerships established with industry leaders such as Fiji Airways, Honeywell, Aramex, and the US Navy, we are set to commence operations in 2026 with firm aircraft orders already secured.
Our team comprises expert engineers from both deep tech and aerospace backgrounds, emphasizing rapid iteration and mastery of aircraft certification processes. Our accomplishments include the development of custom drones and the production of multiple automotive platforms, alongside pioneering electric propulsion systems that fly, roll, and even magnetically levitate. Collectively, we have dedicated our lives to learning, developing, and testing solutions for this groundbreaking challenge.
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Lead Maintenance Technician with a strong avionics background to serve as our Crew Chief. This pivotal role will connect development engineering with flight operations, focusing on the fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated avionics systems in our eVTOL aircraft, particularly mission-critical payloads like sensors, cameras, and communication devices.
