Role Overview
The Technical Product Manager for IAM/Access Management will guide the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of secure and efficient access management solutions. This work underpins the reliability and security of identity data across our engineering and business systems. The position collaborates with IT, HR, Security, and engineering teams to ensure our access management meets the highest standards for security and compliance.
What You Will Do
- Define product vision and roadmap: Set and maintain a clear vision for employee lifecycle management and IAM strategies that support Flatiron’s business and security needs.
- Lead lifecycle automation: Drive automation for onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning for employees, contractors, and abstractors. Work closely with IT, HR, and Security to integrate systems such as Okta, Workday, and Google Workspace.
- Strengthen access governance: Improve protocols for access reviews, policy management, audit trails, and compliance tracking to ensure proper access at all times.
- Advance IAM strategy and execution: Champion modern IAM models (RBAC/ABAC), federated identity, and self-service features. Oversee integrations with cloud providers (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and secrets management tools.
- Monitor new technologies and emerging threats to keep our IAM landscape current and secure.
