This role requires an understanding that social media is both a cultural arena and a commercial tool, with expertise in balancing storytelling with growth.Positioned at the crossroads of brand, creativity, culture, and expansion, you will oversee our organic social media initiatives from inception to execution and continual refinement.The RoleYou will take charge of Ffern’s organic social media strategy across all platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand ethos, supporting business objectives, and laying the groundwork for sustainable growth and customer acquisition.In collaboration with the Brand, Creative, Growth, and Customer Service teams, you will ensure that every post, story, and campaign is purposeful, thoughtful, and distinctly reflective of Ffern.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy & CraftDevelop and implement a premier organic social strategy in line with brand marketing goals.Oversee the social approval process, guiding concepts from ideation to launch with clarity and assurance.Collaborate closely with the Art Director and Creative Director to ensure social content is deeply integrated into the broader Ffern narrative.Maintain a keen balance between storytelling and commercial objectives, always prioritizing the customer experience.Creative CollaborationWork collaboratively with creative producers to brief, shape, and refine assets to meet both vision and goals.Transform and adapt content from our Film and Ads Studio into engaging social-first formats.Partner with Growth, Design, Film, and Ads Studio teams to execute multi-channel campaigns to an exceptional standard.Culture, Innovation & InspirationMonitor cultural trends, platform innovations, and competitor activities, bringing fresh and relevant ideas to Ffern.Convert external inspirations into actionable concepts for Ffern’s campaign narratives.Develop quarterly social inspiration presentations for the broader Brand team, showcasing new formats, behaviors, and insights (with assistance from the Social Media Executive).Performance & LearningTrack, analyze, and report on social KPIs, converting performance data into insights and actionable strategies.Compile and present seasonal retrospectives to the Brand team, identifying successes, reasons for effectiveness, and pathways for evolution.Process, People & CommunityEnsure social processes are clear, effective, and scalable—iterating systems as the team expands.Support team development and community engagement initiatives.
