Role overview
The Senior SEO and Generative Search Manager will join the Marketing team in London. This position shapes Pleo’s online presence for the era of generative search, driving organic growth and AI-powered visibility. The role suits someone who enjoys building search strategies with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), leading experiments, and working where Technical Engineering, AI Strategy, and B2B Fintech meet.
Team structure
This role reports to the Associate Director of Digital Channels. Collaboration is key: expect to work closely with colleagues in Engineering, Product, Brand, Content, and Website teams. The team aims to convert organic discovery into revenue and shift focus from content volume to strategies centered on high-intent and entity relevance.
What you will do
- Enhance Pleo’s presence in generative search by optimizing site architecture and digital assets, increasing citations in Google AI, Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.
- Lead and collaborate with the Website team on an experimentation roadmap, including A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) for high-intent strategies.
