Role Overview: Senior Sales Manager – Card Issuing
Checkout.com is hiring a Senior Sales Manager in London to accelerate the growth of its Card Issuing solution. This role sits within the Commercial Team and focuses on helping global enterprises launch card programs, from virtual cards for travel to physical cards for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) products. The position reports directly to the Director.
The Senior Sales Manager will oversee multiple sales cycles, aiming for high conversion rates and consistently exceeding targets. Success in this role requires a strong background in selling advanced card issuing solutions, especially in competitive markets. The company offers an uncapped recurring commissions plan and a collaborative work environment.
Collaboration with technology and business teams is key. The role involves presenting Checkout.com’s products and services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to their needs, and driving new business. Independence, motivation, and a track record of surpassing sales goals are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Identify high-potential clients and build a strong pipeline for card issuing across multiple sectors.
- Solution Selling: Promote card issuing products to travel intermediaries and fintech clients using targeted outbound strategies.
- Consultative Engagement: Advise clients and tailor solutions to fit their specific requirements.
