Your Role and Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will oversee the complete product lifecycle for initiatives aimed at bolstering Kroo’s financial crime controls, operational effectiveness, and automation capabilities. You will convert intricate risk and operational needs into customer-centric solutions that are safe, compliant, scalable, and measurable. Collaborating with teams across Product, Technology, Data, Operations, Financial Crime, Risk, and Compliance, you will implement enhancements that mitigate risk, lessen operational loads, and improve decision-making processes throughout the bank. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Crafting a vision for your team, translating it into strategic actions that positively impact our customers' experiences.
- Collaborating with your team to design and implement secure, reliable, and efficient financial crime and operational workflows across both customer-facing and internal channels.
- Taking full ownership of your products, managing the entire lifecycle from discovery and planning to market launch and ongoing optimization.
- Defining and managing your backlog, making necessary trade-offs to deliver customer and business value promptly while maintaining a focus on risk and operational effects.
- Championing continuous discovery across financial crime, operations, and automation, validating concepts that enhance controls, efficiency, auditability, and customer outcomes through insights and experimentation.
- Translating complex requirements and evolving regulations into clearly defined product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to enable high-quality delivery.
- Partnering with Financial Crime stakeholders to enhance preventive and detection capabilities in areas like AML, CTF, sanctions, fraud, and transaction monitoring, in alignment with the bank’s risk appetite.
- Working with Operations teams to streamline processes, identify challenges, eliminate unnecessary manual tasks, and deliver measurable service, productivity, and quality improvements.
- Leading automation projects that minimize manual tasks and errors, including workflow tools, case management enhancements, rules optimization, straight-through processing, and intelligent decision-making.
- Making data-driven decisions and taking decisive actions when data is limited, utilizing insights, experimentation, sound judgment, and thorough documentation of rationale.
