In the realm of Real Estate Tax, we deliver comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to both UK and international property investors and developers. Our diverse clientele includes funds, asset managers, REITs, overseas investors, housebuilders, owner-occupiers, landed estates, and private clients. Collaborating closely with our Transaction Services team, we also provide financial and tax due diligence, tax structuring, and transactional support for Real Estate M&A assignments. Many of our projects are international in scope, involving cross-border investments between the UK and global assets, often necessitating collaboration with colleagues from our CLA Global network.Role OverviewAs an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role within our expanding Real Estate Tax team, which is a strategic focus area for the firm. If you possess substantial experience in Real Estate and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, this position is for you. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong technical skills applicable in both advisory and compliance roles, alongside excellent client and project management competencies to assist senior team members in delivering exceptional advice and nurturing client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, collaborating with Partners/Directors (or independently) on complex tax consultancy and compliance projects for various stakeholders in the real estate sector.Lead transactional initiatives, managing the execution of tax structuring and due diligence assignments related to client M&A activities, including coordinating efforts from specialist teams.Assist the Partner/Director team in business development efforts aimed at existing, new, and prospective clients, while providing support to colleagues on both chargeable and non-chargeable tasks as needed.Guide and develop junior staff through delegation, on-the-job training, performance evaluations, and by acting as a Line Manager.
