What’s the opportunity?
Join Intercom as a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Team Billing, which is responsible for the fundamental systems that govern customer purchases, usage metering, accurate billing, revenue recognition, and financial flow. This pivotal, high-visibility role within Growth Engineering will see you collaborating closely with teams across Pricing & Packaging, Order Management, Self-Service, Sales, Finance, Enterprise Systems, Analytics, and Billing Operations. You will promote clarity, focus, and execution across this vital platform, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and exceptional standards.
What will I be doing?
- Lead and expand a team responsible for developing and enhancing Intercom’s billing, subscription, invoicing, and metering functionalities — the cornerstone of our revenue and monetization strategies.
- Oversee and enhance the reliability and operational performance of Billing systems, including on-call quality, incident response, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
