You will manage electrical installations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes with respect to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), schedules, quality standards, compliance, and commercial objectives.Your Responsibilities:Lead, train, and mentor the electrical design and engineering team.Prepare scope documents for tenders and procurement processes.Conduct electrical design and modeling (up to 11KV) in compliance with current standards.Collaborate with CAD teams, manufacturers, and installation crews to assess design suitability and ensure effective methodologies.Work alongside commercial and planning departments to develop designs and monitor any design deviations.Assist in planning installation, testing, and commissioning works by providing accurate forecasts to align with project timelines.Manage subcontractor activities, including valuation and contractual support, while overseeing design registers.Ensure all formal communications are properly managed and deliver engineered solutions to meet client expectations, project constraints, and budgetary limits.Stay updated with the latest electrical, construction, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with best practices.Follow HSE best practices and ensure design risk assessments comply with installation parameters.Qualifications:HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Registered with the Engineering Council as a Technician Engineer, Incorporated Engineer, or pursuing Chartered status.Membership in CIBSE, IET, or another recognized Engineering Council institution.At least seven years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role.Proficient in electrical design software and project management tools.Strong leadership and communication skills.
