New Verticals & Site Operations: As an integral part of the DoorDash group, our New Verticals team serves as the global powerhouse for innovating and scaling the next generation of first-party (1P) retail and automated logistics. Unlike traditional aggregators, we own the infrastructure and operations that guarantee a premium, lightning-fast experience. Deliveroo HOP stands out as our 1P quick grocery service, overseeing inventory, technology, and the entire fulfillment process to ensure grocery delivery in as little as 15 minutes, with the UK being our largest market within the global Deliveroo HOP team.
The Role: The Regional Manager will supervise the comprehensive operations of our proprietary 1P sites across the UK. This impactful leadership position merges hands-on operational excellence with strategic foresight for the mid-to-long term. You will take ownership of these sites, ensuring impeccable safety standards, precise stock integrity, and rapid throughput.
You will propel the business forward by enhancing productivity, meeting site personnel cost objectives, and reducing wastage/shrinkage. A 'Total Ownership' leader, you will work strategically within the global DoorDash ecosystem to refine our operational model while nurturing a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture among all site colleagues. Additionally, you will spearhead and execute high-impact operational projects from inception to completion—identifying opportunities, mobilizing cross-functional teams, and implementing sustainable changes that boost efficiency, enhance colleague and customer experiences, and solidify our competitive edge as a top-tier brand.
