Join our team as a Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer at the University of Law's Bloomsbury and Moorgate campuses. This role involves performing essential planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring the integrity of building fabric across both sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering tasks efficiently, maintaining consistent operational performance through effective task management.
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance as directed by the Contract Manager, including fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical building services.
- Conduct various maintenance tasks that may include non-specialist building fabric duties.
- Update completed PPM tasks in both the computerized maintenance management system and physical documentation.
- Uphold engineering standards to enhance operational effectiveness and reliability of systems.
- Adhere to company QA and site procedures consistently.
- Follow all health and safety protocols mandated by the company and site.
- Maintain comprehensive site records and documentation related to all performed work.
- Inspect service conditions and address call-outs and repairs as needed.
- Respond to site emergencies outside of regular working hours if necessary.
- Work at heights and within plant room environments, with all necessary training and PPE provided.
- Contribute positively towards the ongoing success of the contract.
- Comply with ABM Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
