Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who can:Oversee the traceability and documentation of maintenance activities, emphasizing safety-critical components like running gear and axles. Manage archiving and data storage, ensuring accurate maintenance of component documents and counters. Develop and enhance systems, databases, KPIs, and procedures, ensuring clear communication and team adoption. Ensure all maintenance examinations, tasks, and campaigns are correctly created, planned, executed, and monitored. Create structured work reports and maintenance campaigns, with a focus on safety-critical components. Lead the planning team in the work-order creation process within the Engineering Maintenance System, implementing effective monitoring procedures. Monitor fleet restrictions, manage derogation requests, and support critical configuration and data processes as needed. Forecast material requirements, analyze usage trends, support international maintenance planning, and serve as the first point of contact for data or archiving inquiries. To succeed in this role, you will need:A wealth of experience in engineering and operating practices of rolling stock, with at least 5 years of successful experience in UK or European railways. A thorough understanding of IT systems and system specification development. Experience in managing technical records in a depot and production planning. In-depth knowledge of railway components performance and maintenance regimes. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

We are excited to announce an opening for a Maintenance Configuration Controller within our Rolling Stock team. In this pivotal role, you will monitor the traceability of maintenance activities across our three depots, with a keen eye on safety-critical components such as running gear. You will also manage the archiving and data storage of all production records, component documents, and counters, while supporting the definition of international maintenance planning across the depots.
