Role Summary
The Head of Media will oversee the digital media operations of the agency, focusing on paid digital media planning, buying, and analytics. As the highest-ranking media leader in the UK, you will shape the strategic direction, drive revenue growth, enhance media sophistication, and develop a robust, scalable department. This role requires a confident leader who can delegate effectively while remaining hands-on when necessary, fostering innovation and long-term growth for the agency.
Core Responsibilities
• Establish and lead a strategic vision for media services in the UK, ensuring innovative approaches that yield measurable business outcomes.
• Craft and execute cutting-edge media strategies for key accounts and new business prospects, elevating the agency's output.
• Oversee media reporting practices and uphold high standards of accountability.
• Develop new business media strategies, contribute to pitches, and cultivate client relationships.
• Identify and pursue revenue opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with Client Services to expand media scopes.
• Build, mentor, and empower a resilient leadership team within the media department.
• Collaborate on team structuring and succession planning for sustainable growth.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex client or operational challenges, providing decisive solutions.
• Maintain expertise in digital channels and emerging platforms, guiding innovative practices across accounts.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of project management tools, including Asana and media traffic management systems.
