This Data Analyst position is a pivotal role within our Data Intelligence Unit (DIU), emphasizing insight generation, analytical problem-solving, and decision support that goes beyond standard reporting. You will enhance the organization’s comprehension of customer behavior and performance drivers by delving deeper into trends to uncover root causes, measure impacts, and facilitate data-driven decision-making across Content, Commercial, CRM, Product, and Leadership teams.
The ideal candidate is someone who excels in navigating complex behavioral datasets, thrives in ambiguous situations, and aims to shape strategic directions through thorough analysis. A passion for sports and betting markets is advantageous but what truly matters is your analytical curiosity and critical thinking skills. This position follows a hybrid model, requiring 3 days in our Central London office near Southbank and 2 days of remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insight Generation: Move beyond traditional reporting by proactively identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities in customer behavior, lifecycle progression, segmentation, and product engagement, ensuring insights connect to commercial and strategic outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams, leadership, and various squads to understand challenges, formulate hypotheses, and deliver impactful insights that steer strategic decisions.
- Data Storytelling: Simplify complex datasets and analyses into engaging narratives that inspire action, ensuring insights are accessible for stakeholders with diverse data proficiency.
- Impact Measurement: Create and execute solid measurement frameworks, including test-and-learn strategies, to assess the effectiveness of business changes and ensure decisions are data-driven and continuously refined.
- Championing a Data-Driven Culture: Promote data as a strategic asset, challenge assumptions, and embed insight-led decision-making within Content, Product, CRM, and Commercial teams.
- Automation for Efficiency: Optimize and automate routine reporting and analysis processes to dedicate more time to high-value insight generation rather than manual data preparation.
