About the job
Corgi Insurance is seeking an Operations Generalist for its London office. The company specializes in insurance solutions for tech startups and has secured $108 million in funding. With full regulatory approval as a licensed carrier, Corgi is expanding rapidly throughout London, the UK, and the EU.
What you will do
- Assist the VP of Operations and senior leadership with a variety of projects tied to scaling the London office and launching new entities in the EU.
- Manage organizational and administrative work, especially tasks related to EU expansion.
- Tackle generalist assignments as they arise to help keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Take ownership of tasks from start to finish, escalating issues only when needed.
- Respond to operational needs for both the office and expansion projects as they come up.
Who thrives here
- People who bring energy and drive, and enjoy working in a startup setting.
- Those comfortable with a hands-on, low-ego approach to a broad range of responsibilities.
- Individuals who can adapt to ambiguity and handle tasks without a set playbook.
- Reliable team players who value trust and accountability.
- Clear communicators who prefer transparency over working in silos.
- Results-focused contributors who are motivated by achievement, not just building a resume.
Work culture
- Decisions are made quickly, with a preference for action over perfection.
- Expect periods of high intensity, balanced by steady effort during quieter times.
- Team members are encouraged to bring solutions, not just problems. Healthy internal competition helps raise the bar.
- This is a place for builders and innovators, not those looking for an easy path.
Behaviors that do not fit
- Office politics or gossip
- Taking feedback personally rather than constructively
- Adding unnecessary process overhead
- Failing to follow through on commitments promptly
