You will also assist with HR-related tasks and strive for process improvements, all while maintaining confidentiality.Core ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management & Compliance· Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls across various employee categories (exempt, non-exempt, commission), ensuring the accurate calculation of wages, commissions, deductions, and benefits.· Maintain comprehensive payroll records for new hires, promotions, terminations, and leaves; prepare documentation such as payroll registers and tax filings.· Issue manual checks, final pay, and special adjustments as needed.· Reconcile payroll and benefit bills, creating necessary journal entries in coordination with Finance.· Generate payroll reports for management and audits, addressing any discrepancies promptly.· Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings.HRIS & Payroll Systems Oversight· Act as the system administrator for payroll and HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce preferred).· Ensure data integrity across payroll, attendance, benefits, and employee classifications.· Recommend system enhancements and provide training to employees as needed.Benefits & Retirement Program Management· Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.· Support employees with benefits enrollment and management during qualifying life events.
