About the job
Join our dynamic team at Catch22, an Ofsted 'Good' rated school, where we are dedicated to empowering children with additional needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges, often stemming from trauma. We are seeking an enthusiastic unqualified or qualified teacher who exhibits flexibility, sensitivity, patience, and resilience. Our mission is to reignite pupils' passion for learning, and therefore, creativity and a strong commitment to engaging all students with the primary curriculum is essential.

If you are eager to gain experience in alternative provision, work towards your QTS, or seek a challenge in an environment where you can make a transformative impact on the lives of vulnerable children, we invite you to apply and become a part of our Include family.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Creating an inspiring learning environment with high expectations for student achievement, success, and progression.
- Planning, producing, and updating work schemes to meet curriculum and accreditation standards, adhering to guidance from the DFE and other regulatory bodies.
- Developing learning resources that cater to learner needs and align with Catch22 and commissioner requirements.
- Preparing lessons for off-site students for delivery by support staff.
- Guiding learners to reflect on their progress and set positive targets for improvement.
- Maintaining discipline and safeguarding student wellbeing.
- Building supportive relationships with students and families, fostering trust throughout the educational process, and liaising with outside agencies as necessary.
- Handling administrative tasks related to teaching, including examination entries and attendance records.
Additional Duties:
- Serving as a role model and championing the vision and values of Catch22 and its Education directorate.
- Adhering to Catch22 policies, including safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety.
- Engaging in personal and professional development activities, collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
