Develop proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhanced equipment features. Independently perform maintenance following industry standards. Create maintenance protocols and guidelines for new or modified manufacturing equipment. Advise customer teams on optimizing maintenance strategies, improving reliability, and establishing preventative maintenance procedures. Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking equipment to fabricate or repair components. Welding may be required. Comply with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping requirements, and all safety protocols. Document completed work in service reports and management systems. Provide detailed observations and equipment performance data. Prepare technical manuals and maintenance procedures for equipment upgrades and automation projects. Mentor junior technicians and lead project teams, supporting training and development efforts. Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve advanced software, hardware, and configuration issues. Use advanced diagnostic tools and methods to verify equipment performance and functionality.
