This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant U.S. regulations, fostering a robust safety culture, and collaborating with operational teams to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety Program DevelopmentAssist in formulating, implementing, and upholding site-specific health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including those set by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).Engage in risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and the creation of safe work procedures.Compliance, Reporting, Training & AwarenessConduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and safety observations to ensure ongoing compliance.Facilitate training and compliance initiatives for identified corrective actions.Maintain comprehensive records for training, inspections, incidents, and regulatory reporting.Accompany division management during MSHA and State inspections.Support incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and track corrective actions.Coordinate and deliver safety training programs, including orientations for new hires and refresher courses.Ensure all employees and contractors fulfill necessary safety training requirements (e.g., MSHA Part 46/48 training).Promote safety awareness campaigns and initiatives throughout the site.

The Junior Exploration Geologist will work closely with the team to advance the understanding of the Springer project and surrounding areas. Fieldwork is a key component, with a focus on systematic and cost-effective exploration. Main responsibilities Assist with targeted exploration to expand geological knowledge of the site. Help develop and test exploration targets through systematic evaluation. Participate in designing and executing field exploration programs.
