The Customer Service Advisor serves as the main point of contact for service customers. This role guides people through maintenance and repairs, connecting them with technicians and ensuring each person receives attentive, transparent service. Success in this position relies on strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and genuine interest in automotive care.
What you will do
- Welcome customers in a professional manner upon arrival.
- Discuss vehicle concerns, accurately recording issues on Repair Orders (ROs).
- Recommend services and maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines, technician input, and the vehicle’s history.
- Provide clear estimates for service costs and timelines.
- Keep customers informed about repair status, additional needs, and any delays.
- Coordinate with technicians, the parts department, and the service manager to keep work on track.
- Ensure compliance with all warranty and manufacturer requirements.
- Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and help arrange loaner cars or shuttle rides as needed.
- Follow up after service to confirm satisfaction and encourage survey completion.
