THE ROLE
Pure Storage is seeking a Partner Account Manager (PAM) to spearhead the development and management of Reseller and Technology Alliance partnerships in the Houston and Austin regions. This pivotal role will be stationed in Houston, Texas.
The PAM will be accountable for the recruitment, nurturing, and oversight of business relationships with Reseller partners in Houston and Austin. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Partner Sales Manager for the Southeast Region, Regional Sales Directors, District Managers, and Account Executive teams to effectively develop and support all partners and prospects within their designated territory. Additionally, they will partner with the Channel and Field Marketing team to design programs and events aimed at promoting Pure Storage’s offerings and driving revenue through partnerships.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance the sell-through of Pure Storage products within the Channel.
- Serve as the primary contact for existing partners.
- Proactively drive sales and maximize partner potential through best practices, training, and support.
- Manage sales orders and communicate status updates to partners and/or management.
- Effectively communicate new product offerings to partners.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute programs and events that foster relationships with new prospects.
- Stay informed about competitive landscape and industry developments.
