As a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer at VWE, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of our cloud environment. You will work at the intersection of Development and Operations, ensuring that our Azure architecture is scalable, secure, and future-proof.
At VWE, we are actively transitioning to cloud-native operations, containerization, and CI/CD practices. Your expertise will accelerate this movement, bringing structure, standards, and best practices to our platform.
This position comes with its challenges, but we are looking for someone who thrives on taking ownership and feels energized by these responsibilities.
What will you do?
Design and further develop the Microsoft Azure architecture
Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS)
Standardize container-based deployments (Docker)
Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep)
Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
Enhance security, governance, and identity management (RBAC, Key Vault)
Develop reusable templates and platform components
Coach and support development teams
Advance processes towards a mature DevOps methodology
