As an Electronics Operator, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough analyses of all electronic components on the printed circuit board. This will include tasks such as counting, measuring, and sourcing technical datasheets.Your duties will involve:Capturing photographs of each disassembly sequence and each internal component at a 45° angle for an exploded view.Utilizing Photoshop to annotate disassembly photos with arrows pointing out various fasteners, as well as to create exploded views.Assessing each mechanical part, including weight, dimensions, and materials.Evaluating each printed circuit assembly with respect to weight, dimensions, and manufacturer details.Analyzing every connector on the circuit board, focusing on dimensions, type, and pin count.Creating images representing pin numbers.Photographing all components.Using Photoshop to map the location of each component.Examining each component for quantity, pin count, and markings.Locating datasheets for components.Updating each property with information from the datasheet or other online resources.Identifying all components used for communication and completing the BUS file.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at a2mac1, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be the tactical executor of quality assurance within agile sprints and serve as the QA owner within your squad. Your responsibilities will include bridging requirements with automation-ready testing and sustainable coverage, working closely with developers while adopting a QA Shift-Left approach.Key Responsibilities:Sprint-Level QA Ownership:- Manage all QA activities for assigned user stories, ensuring comprehensive functional and integration testing coverage.- Develop and maintain sprint-level test plans that align with acceptance criteria and integration requirements.- Actively engage in refinement sessions to clarify acceptance criteria and enhance testability.- Maintain a squad-level regression checklist, recommending candidates for broader regression testing as per organizational standards.Test Design and Execution:- Create high-quality, reusable, modular test cases for various scenarios including functional, negative, edge, and API testing.- Ensure that test cases are automation-ready and adhere to standards set by the QA Lead.- Conduct manual and exploratory testing within each sprint cycle.- Prepare and manage test data sets for consistent execution across environments.- Regularly evaluate the relevance of test cases and suggest refactoring or removal of obsolete tests.Automation Contribution:- Implement and maintain automated tests at the story level using approved frameworks, such as Selenium, Postman, and Gherkin/Java.- Adhere to framework architecture and coding standards as outlined by the QA Lead.- Collaborate with developers to ensure automation is initiated early in the sprint.- Investigate automation failures, apply fixes through code review, and identify root causes.- Highlight flaky tests, propose stabilization strategies, and implement approved solutions.Quality Governance:- Track and report quality metrics including coverage, execution rates, defect leakage, and automation stability.- Provide quality insights to the QA Product Lead and Domain Engineering Manager for dashboards and governance.- Recommend process or tooling improvements while ensuring alignment with organizational standards.- Advocate for Shift-Left practices by enhancing user story readiness and acceptance criteria quality.
