The Role
As an interpreter, your responsibilities will include accurately listening to, understanding, and memorizing content in the source language, then conveying it in the target language with precision. Your tasks will involve:
- Interpreting for individuals accessing legal, healthcare, and local government services
- Ensuring comprehension for non-English speakers after each statement
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information
- Facilitating communication between service users and providers
