Our Northeast Division boasts a highly respected and award-winning team, where opportunities for career development, training, and mentorship thrive alongside a diverse array of civil, environmental, water resources, and traffic/transportation projects. We are currently seeking a Resident Project Representative to bolster our Water/Wastewater practice in the Northeast, primarily covering Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. This position allows for remote work, but candidates must reside within driving distance of the project sites.
Your Responsibilities as a Resident Project Representative:
- Monitor and report on the construction of municipal water and wastewater projects, including horizontal construction and new treatment plant projects.
- Ensure contractor compliance with standards, specifications, and design drawings and permits.
- Review contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation, providing feedback, coordinating reviews, and maintaining records as necessary.
- Observe construction activities to ensure adherence to contracts and site procedures, track activities for payment reviews, and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure construction aligns with current approved standards and specifications.
- Document construction progress through observations and photographs.
- Identify and report any deficiencies or improprieties.
- Maintain a comprehensive field log of daily events.
- Quantify and track construction activities and materials as required.
