Key Responsibilities:
Sector Strategy & Market Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Rail & Transit market.
- Define and execute the Rail & Transit sector strategy aligned with AECOM's UK and global transportation objectives.
- Analyze market trends, policy changes, and investment programs to identify growth opportunities within Rail & Transit.
- Establish AECOM as a leading authority in rail and transit advisory, design, and implementation.
Client & Relationship Leadership:
- Serve as the regional industry leader in Rail & Transit, collaborating with peers to ensure consistent market approaches and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate team formations for bidding and mobilization efforts.
- Work with regional teams to assess Rail & Transit opportunities and advise on strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in rail and transit sectors, including clients, devolved authorities, and major contractors.
- Act as an executive sponsor for key client accounts and strategic alliances.
- Lead client engagement initiatives, positioning AECOM as a trusted partner.
- Ensure comprehensive account plans are established for all tier-one clients to enhance cross-selling and client retention.
- Maintain the integrity of sector data within Salesforce, ensuring actionable opportunity pipelines.
Business Development & Work Winning:
- Engage actively in winning work, collaborating with key regional and global transport leads to develop a robust project pipeline.
- Establish relationships with essential clients, funding sources, industry organizations, and stakeholders.
