Key Responsibilities:New Business Development & Revenue GrowthDrive the acquisition of new logos and achieve year-on-year revenue growth through a strategic business development framework. Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and data-driven decision-making. Oversee the complete sales cycle: from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and contract execution. Secure multi-million-rand enterprise contracts in alignment with DVT’s core offerings (software engineering, data engineering, cloud solutions, AI, automation, and digital transformation). Strategic Market ExpansionIdentify and cultivate opportunities within key sectors (financial services, retail, telecommunications, logistics, and public sector). Develop go-to-market strategies and value propositions in collaboration with the Chief Customer Officer and global leadership team. Work alongside delivery and technical teams to guarantee that client solutions align with DVT’s capabilities and innovation objectives. Brand Representation & Industry EngagementAct as a Brand Ambassador for DVT at industry conferences, networking events, and executive forums. Organize and lead industry-specific events such as hackathons. Establish and nurture relationships with C-suite executives, potential clients, and key industry stakeholders. Communicate DVT’s value proposition with confidence — both technical and strategic — to diverse audiences. Collect leads and market insights from events, providing feedback to sales and marketing teams to enhance engagement strategies. Offer insights and suggestions regarding brand positioning, visibility, and the effectiveness of external engagements. Solutioning & Consultative SalesCollaborate with DVT’s technical experts to craft customized digital and software solutions addressing intricate client challenges. Lead and manage proposal creation and submission processes.
