Role overview
This Galway-based Technical Support Engineer position supports customers using MAGNUS Smart Tank Telemetry solutions across Ireland, the UK, and the EU. The role works closely with the Technical Support team leader and senior management to improve support processes, implement automation using AI tools, and strengthen client relationships as the company continues to grow.
What you will do
- Deliver both pre-sales and post-sales application support for MAGNUS Monitors products
- Report directly to the Head of Operations and collaborate with the broader support team
Objectives
- Maintain high standards and efficiency in support activities
- Achieve targets for customer response times and satisfaction
- Continue developing industry knowledge
- Contribute to the creation and ongoing updates of the internal knowledge database
- Communicate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders
- Suggest improvements to existing products
Technical support focus
- Take responsibility for customer issues, ensuring resolution by following established support processes and acting as the main technical contact
- Use phone, email, WhatsApp, and video calls to address and resolve customer problems
- Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues to enhance customer experiences
