Role overview
The Test Support Engineer position centers on hardware testing at manufacturing lines and service sites for a major client. Responsibilities span compute and sensor units, vehicle systems, and service operations. The role is based in California and involves rotating between Foster City, Fremont, and Hayward, with travel to these Bay Area locations as needed and with notice.
What you will do
- Test and validate hardware components and systems across various projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues to support scaling objectives.
- Work across electronics manufacturing and software domains, including tasks such as firmware flashing, networking, Python script debugging, and using Linux environments.
- Switch between component-level and system-level testing depending on project needs.
- Manage schedules and meet deadlines while working independently.
