This office plays a crucial role in advancing the Department of Defense's integration of data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to achieve strategic advantages from the boardroom to the battlefield. The Senior Systems Engineer will directly support the Chief Technology Officer of CDAO and contribute significantly to driving AI/ML and data-centric initiatives.With over three years of experience supporting CDAO, including ongoing assistance to the T&E Directorate and Resource Management Office, this role represents a new opportunity within a team dedicated to providing Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) to the CDAO CTO.

POSITION OVERVIEWThe Building Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of building systems and equipment, ensuring they operate optimally while assisting other team members. Responsibilities include executing preventative maintenance to keep systems in peak condition and prolong their lifespan, while also being vigilant about the property’s overall appearance.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESInterpret and clarify instructions and memos to ensure comprehensive understanding.Utilize necessary manual and power-driven tools effectively.Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.Conduct preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and company guidelines regarding building operations and safety.Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to confirm they operate within design specifications and meet client-prescribed environmental conditions.Perform contracted services such as landscaping, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning.
